"I was looking for a shower and a bed and I was not disappointed. The shower was hot; the bed was clean. The AC was weak sauce, but this is the desert so once the sun went down it got cold. I loved the community environment that comes with a hostel. Would definitely stay in hostels more often. This place is charming to say the least! Could have done without so much blatant drug use, but this is California."

"Never stayed there before, the staff was great, seemed clean enough but the room had pull down darkening shades that are past their prime. They need to replace the blinds they were in horrible shape. Also while it is a dog friendly place there is no designated area to bring your dog to - to do their business."
