We have stayed at over 30 Game Lodges in South Africa over the years and Lush Private Game Lodge is better by far. Their standard of service is unmatched. They are so friendly and they go above and beyond to ensure guests needs are met. The food is amazing and the game drives exceded all expectations. We can't imagine going anywhere else.

The hotel has a great friendly staff. The food is great and theres plenty of great drinks! Great massages and very confortable to rest. This is a great place to visit love the game drives and all the animals you can also see!

LUSH it Truly LUSH !!!

The VERY BEST bush lodge we have ever stayed in, if you can do stay in the Deluxe Suite its breath taking !!! All the staff are extremely well trained and carries you on their hands from beginning to end The Guides are incredible with a wealth of knowledge Not to even mention the food - we rolled out of the lodge it was just AMAZING

Perfect in every way

Genuinely the most beautiful accommodation I’ve ever experienced. It lives up to the reviews. I was lucky enough to stay in lodge 6 and I just wish there had been more hours in the day to spend lots of time in every indoor and outdoor section. The staff go out of their way to provide exceptional service and the food is outstanding. A special mention to Ranger Jacques, who was a brilliant guide and absolutely made the stay with his extensive knowledge, humour and care for guests.

Where does one begin? From the minute you drive up to the wonderful smiling, welcoming, waving greeters you feel at home. Lush was the highlight of our South African vacation. Every single attention to detail shows that love, thought and care has been given. Our guide Cole was outstanding, his knowledge and passion shine through. My partner and I stayed at Lush for two nights and cannot say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely beautiful from the location inside the Black Rhino Reserve to the decor of the entire lodge and its suites to the impeccable service and food. What a treat! The game drives were great, especially the morning ones as we saw a lot of lions and other big 5 animals. Our guide Doug was super friendly and knowledgeable-- we enjoyed spending time with him and learned quite a bit. The butler, Andrew, was super attentive and very quick with our requests for food/drinks etc. The managers-- John and Babs-- are just lovely and ensure that all the needs of their guests are met. Everyone went above and beyond. We are grateful to have ended our trip to South Africa on such a high note by spending it at Lush. We miss it dearly and cannot wait to return! Thank you so much, Lush!
