Good value for money in a quiet area

Good standard, quiet area, nice staff, good price. But there is not much in this area. Get a scooter if you are staying for a few days.

Absolutely loved our host and her daughter! They where very accommodating and sweet. Not much activities and restaurants close. There was some ants In The room but that is expected in this area.

This is the perfect property for 1 or 2 nights as it is close to the airport. The family owning it was very nice and helpful. The area however was very secluded and about an hour away from the touristy part of Phuket. We didnt have a hard time finding taxis and ordering food delivery. If you are looking for a more authentic Thai experience this is a great place. If you are looking for action and adventure then this is only a 1 night stop kind of place. Overall we enjoyed our stay. My only critique would be that there were ants/mosquitos in our room due to an open gap in the window in the bathroom which we could close the door to. They also did a room service while we were out without asking us first which was the first hotel to do that and I would have preferred if they had let us know so I could have properly put my things away and secured my valuables.

I stayed at Baan Kalaya Garden for a week. I was travelling alone on a Motorcycle Tour of Thailand and after 14 days of riding from Chaing Mai. I wanted to stay and explore Phuket. I like small Mom and Pop motels instead of huge impersonal hotels. If you want 5 star spa and pool then this is not for you. But if you want to stay in a very clean welcoming friendly motel, than this is for you. It's in a good residential area close to the main road about two blocks walking distance to a 7-11 and great street food. Ask about the lady just up the street that will cook you an amazing meal. I like to immerse myself in the local life and culture. This was a perfect place for me. If I ever go back to Thailand I will stay there again.

It's a little off the beaten path in a residential neighborhood, but it's a clean, quiet place to stay. This is an especially convenient place close to the airport. However, the beds are really hard. Other than that, the room is basic and has good A/C. It's a good value, but next time I'd probably opt to stay at a place a little nicer.

Positive : very friendly, clean, country peaceful, quite. Near airport, strong wifi, staff cater all needs Negatives: very far from South main phuket attractions! Taxi ridea would cost 1000 baht or 35usd!! Yes recommend if you don't want to go south

Perfect accommodations near the Airport & Bus Stn

Had a fantastic stay here. Got in very late -1am and they were extremely accommodating and offered to help me book travel to Krabi the next day. Turns out the bus stop is only a 5 Min walk! The place looks newly built/remodeled and very clean. Woke up to a fantastic breakfast! Such a great value and perfect location while in transit.
