The hotel was very clean, modern... my only downside is that there are no microwaves and the door is very thin, you can basically hear everything going on in the halls. Overall, our stay was great!
The rooms were newly renovated. Walking distance to Villanova University, which was convenient since visiting Villanova was the reason I was in town. The complimentary breakfast was great, better than what I've had at chain hotels. I had dinner at the restaurant twice, and it was nice, albeit a bit overpriced. Other than that, the only negative thing I can say about my stay is that while the rooms are newly renovated, the lobby, hallways and elevator are not, and look like they haven't been touched since they opened 50 years ago. I thought I might have entered the wrong hotel after seeing the pictures of the rooms online since the décor in the lobby was so dated. I assume that is on their to-do list though since they have renovated the rooms already. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for people staying in this area.
Small hotel, easy to navigate. Good breakfast.
My niece asked about a happy hour at midnight after her nearby wedding at Bolingbroke and was told you couldn't accommodate the request. In fact, everyone returned to the bar and it stayed open until 2, just as she had asked (nothing private).
My parents live in Wayne but I needed to stay in a hotel as a safety precaution. My room was so clean - it smelled fresh walking in. It was rather loud, perhaps there was a wedding since it sounded like young people, but I drained it out with my noise machine. I'm sure if you complained the front desk would say something to the guests. They're very courteous here. Great town! Walking distance to the center of Wayne though I bet most people drive.
The Radnor is an excellent property tailored for the business traveler or for parent visitors of students from the area universities. COVID still has some effect on amenities (for instance, no breakfast on site even though there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner - they do provide a 'to-go bag' breakfast but it was underwhelming) but no complaints. Property was well-maintained and updated. Desk service was very good.
Hotel is clean and comfortable, check-in was easy and staff was friendly. The on-site restaurant closes at 9:00pm so not real good to have a drink before going to room. The housekeeping staff was very noisy early in the morning getting their carts together and talking in the halls.
It was easy access to. Restaurant was very good and staff there were very friendly. I did request extra amenities during my stay but had to ask again as the service forgot. The second time I asked, they did bring me the extras.
