" Die Unterkunft war schön und sauber ,aber die Küchenausstattung sehr mäßig. Ebenso für uns ,als Nichtautofahrer ein großes Manko, dass jeder sein Auto vor seinem Appartment parken konnte. Der Blick von unserer Terrasse, war der auf einen Parkplatz . Dabei hätte es im vorderen Teil der Anlage genug Platz für parkende Autos gegeben. Sehr schade ! "

"Das Hotel Samaria können wir empfehlen. Die Lage im Hafen von Sfakia ist toll. Das Einchecken ging problemlos und war nach 2 Minuten erledigt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon mit Blick über den Hafen. Das Zimmer hatte alles, was man für einen Urlaub braucht. Kühlschrank und funktionierendes W-Lan seien hier erwähnt. "Sehr schönes kleines Hotel und Fußläufig sind Restaurants und Shops, sowie Strand gut erreichbar. Bestes Frühstücksbuffet, dass ich je auf Kreta gesehen habe, sehr liebevoll alles hergerichtet. Das Hotel ist klein aber Oho, auch Doppelzimmer und Bad eher sehr klein geraten."

"So ein schönes, kleines, gemütliches und charmantes Hotel. Evi und Sally haben uns toll umsorgt. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterrasse war ein Highlight. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigeren Seitengasse der schönen Altstadt. Hinweis: man kann mit dem Auto oder Taxi nicht ans Hotel fahren. Daher vorher prüfen, an welcher Stelle man aussteigt."

While the rooms themselves were quite pleasant and well-maintained, the buffet offerings were unfortunately below our expectations. We also found the path to the beach to be unclear and somewhat difficult to navigate. Despite these minor drawbacks, the kindness of the staff made for a generally positive experience.
