2 night stay for my wife visiting the area. Parking generally good but got packed during the evening due to the pub/ restaurant customers. One point of note for solo female travellers is that the site isn't manned at night and the mobile phone signal in the area (on O2 anyway) was non existent. Nice room. Nice breakfast.

The room was really special, Care has obviously been taken to design the experience and as the room was super, so we're the team in the pub. Well done. I will be back.

Lovely Country Inn
Really lovely Place. Nicely decorated rooms. Big and spacious with a very comfortable bed. Staff very friendly. Evening meal at the inn was delicious. A few minor issues. Inside of toilet was dirty on arrival and bathroom bin not emptied. Bath water didn’t get v hot. But in general a lovely place.

Wonderful from start to finish!
Amazing from start to finish. The pub is set in a gorgeous setting with each room decorated beautifully. We stayed in the Burghley room and had our own private courtyard which was wonderful. The room was large and spacious with a separate sofa and arm chair. Couldn’t fault the service in the bar when we had a couple of drinks either. Would highly recommend.

The Wonderful Crown at Elton
Clean and comfortable accommodation ... delicious dinner and breakfast ... wonderful staff made you feel welcome and no ask was too much trouble. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

The location was beautiful. The room was immaculate, comfortable and a good size. The staff were warm, welcoming and really friendly. I ate in the restaurant and the Sunday roast was just incredible. I would definitely come again. It was reasonably priced and well worth the money.

I enjoyed the private garden our room had. Bed was uncomfortable but I think mattresses are personal preference so can't really put that as a negative. Was charged for two cooked breakfasts but only had one

If your going on a work break, don’t bother !
Lovely little village very picturesque. Got into the pub/hotel no checking area, all drinkers in pub turned starting at me looking like a lost sheep! Eventually got taken to my room, to find there was no towels not even hand towel so called down and they took 2 hours to bring them up the stairs. My room was directly over the bar so very loud! Set up my laptop hoping to get work done and no internet even with the WiFi password couldn’t load emails could just about what’s app message. There was no actual phone signal either so no calls could connect so if you are here for business I wouldn’t bother ! Went to have a bath, as I rinsed it and wiped my hand over to my disgust the bath had a film on from not being cleaned previously. Staff were very apologetic and came and cleaned the bath for me. Food was lovely ! Decor of room was nice although lighting was awful as only one down light for the room and bedside lamps which gave off no light. Breakfast was okay

Nice village pub with rooms
Lovely pub with rooms. Well decorated and furnished, bed was comfortable. Good off road parking at rear. The only downside was breakfast didn't start until 0730 which is too late for me when I'm working although Nathan was very accommodating and had made me a bacon sarnie to go.
