"Very tired hotel, uncomfortable beds, barely functioning shower with crusty old used soap bar, musty smell. Lovely staff though, they deserve better."

"Excellent food in a lovely village next to a main road however when you shut the windows the traffic noise was vastly reduced. The close room was great value."

"Simon, the landlord, was personable and very helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast which were very nice. Our room was fine and the bathroom facilities adequate. The property generally could do with a bit of tlc but, that said, we had a nice stay."

"Great location for us (friends in Denford)
Beverley (the owner) was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was a little greasy for me.
Quite a heavy farm smell in the morning."

"Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...
