Inchture Hotel weekend stay
Just spent the weekend in the Inchture Hotel. My room was a little tired, but exceptionally large, clean and comfortable. The staff were attentive, accommodating and friendly, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere in the hotel was lovely, I would definitely stay here again

while an older hotel it is very clean, quiet, safe and easy to park. the food is very good. Friendly staff. I would return to this location again if in the area.

Okay but not good
Room was ok and clean enough. Two issues: 1. No water pressure. Toilet wouldn’t even flush. 2. No sound proofing. Yo can hear everything!

Stay was just ok
Hotel is in a pretty wee village. The main hotel areas were ok, bit tired looking in places. Our room was small, clean enough and bed was comfy but in dire need of doing up. En suite bathroom in particular needs ripped out, very worn and the mouldy shower mat didn't help. A bit of a paint and the grout cleaned would have made it look a bit better. Food in the hotel was ok, cooked breakfast was really tasty but they don't serve breakfast every day and there's nowhere else round about to eat so that wasn't great. Staff were all really nice and friendly. In the 4 nights we stayed though no one went into our room to clean or check if we needed fresh towels or tea tray topped up. We had to ask them to empty the bin in the room and were told if it needs emptying again put it outside the door and they'll take it away so we did and no one took it away, was still there when we left. There is a very well stocked bar but it keeps strange hours and isn't even open until the end of licensing hours, even for guests. That said, our stay was ok and we only paid £180 for 4 nights which was a fair price for the room.

It is suggested that the owners post signs about quiet hours after 10pm. Other guests didn’t seem to care people were trying to sleep. I can understand one night of some level of noise but not every night

No breakfast/not offered continental. Don’t go Monday or Tuesday no bar no food! Apart from that the stay was fine

It’s a typical old tired Scottish hotel. You get what you pay for so it really isn’t an issue. It was adequate. It is a bit musty.

Good value
If your looking for a budget hotel this place is for you. Old and in need of an upgrade but friendly staff. They where not serving food or drinks but this was explained in (advance). On checking in I was given room 7 however on entering the room I discovered it had not been cleaned after the previous guests, I went back to reception and the member of staff was great. He immediately gave me a different room and apologised. No fuss, as I said it’s in a good location and good value for money.

staff are fantastic
Nice hotel, staff are the winners here, the lady on the front desk was so helpful. Very very brief stay but it was pleasant.

The bed for us and sofa bed for kids was fine. Cold corridors as the heating not working, heating in room needing a upgrade as well as the decor all around the building.

Disappointing
Threadbare carpets on staircase , some electrical items not tested since 2013 ! Stop serving dinner at 8:30pm checked in just on 8:30pm and was told all food was off and no offers of any salads or cold foods Disappointing stay , breakfast adequate but nothing more , staff friendly enough.

Nice surprise
Pleasantly surprised to get such a nice room at the price I paid. Very well appointed and comfortable. However the temperature in the room on arrival was far too high. It would have been perfect if a window had been opened prior to my arrival time which I provided in advance. Friendly reception. Did not eat there as the restaurant had closed before my arrival and I left in the morning before breakfasts were available.

Perfect.
Adorable, immaculate cottage. Roomy and spacious, yet warm and cozy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as were the folks at the pub. We didn’t want to leave.

Give it a miss. It’s cheap for a reason
Room was awful. Dingy light. Tv only had 3 channels. BBC2 was unobtainable. Bed was hard and uncomfortable. Hairdryer was from 1970’s shower was weak and pathetic. And grout in bathroom tiles was filthy. Paintwork worn and chipped

It is a really friendly place. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. there is a pub in the back where the locals normally go. We had a great time chatting with the locals. they were super friendly

Very friendly & helpful staff. Room is big enough for family with 2 grown up children. more than enough bed linen. But two minuses: 1. Main bed isn't double. It was two singles put together. Very uncomfortable if you roll into middle. 2. Bathroom floor is slippery vinyl. Still we will stay there again.

Nice overall, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was really good. My only complaint is there was someone else's hair in the bathroom.
