On the plus side, it's a beautiful building, very clean and well maintained, and the room was absolutely beautiful. On the negative side:
- There are no food options, not even a vending machine
- There is absolutely no hospitality, don't expect any. Once check-in is completed (around 7:00), there are no staff members to be found, and there there is no way to contact anyone (no phone in the room). There was nobody to answer any questions - we had a couple. We checked out at 9:30 the next morning and there was still no staff member to be found.
- At check-in we were required to pay in advance, and on the invoice a tip is strongly suggested (as a percentage of the total bill, similar to a restaurant). This is the first time in my life that I was obliged to tip before service was provided (and in the end, none was).
In summary, with tax, tip, and a $40 pet fee, we ended up paying almost $400 for a single night's accommodation. For that price I expect at least a minimum level of service. There was none whatsoever.
