She checked in on us daily and was always prepared with recommendations during our stay. Room and amenities were great too - highly recommend Meritel Hanoi. We will definitely be back :)"

"Really lovely location in the rice fields! The staff were super friendly and helpful with organising transport and things to do in Ninh Binh. The location was a bit out of the way, but easy enough to get around via Grab. The breakfast was really good, with freshly cooked omelettes or pho each morning! However, we did see a number of rats in the property - never in our room, but in the reception area and kitchen. Not sure if it was due to time of year or if this is a long term problem, but it wasn't nice to see!"

"Probably one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The breakfast is absolutely amazing and the glass house and bamboo bar are so nice. Been there twice and wouldn't stay anywhere else in hanoi "

"Great hotel and location just outside of the old town. Great pool and bar area. The bar man made great cocktails! All of the staff were ultra friendly and helpful. Special mention to Ruby and Lisa in the restaurant, but everyone was so nice. Great breakfast! Had a massage at the spa, which was also great. Can’t fault the hotel. Would definitely stay again and I highly recommend staying here. Thank you."

"The room was very clean. Staff members were friendly and attentive. Just FYI, the mattress was quite hard, so it’s great for back sleepers but not so much for side sleepers. Also, the spa is actually located a couple of blocks away and not exactly at the hotel. "
