"This lodge is absolutely perfect! Whoever planned it out took 100% interest into the guests having a great visit. There is a large tv room with games, tables, poker table, foosball, etc We got to sit with family and visit and enjoy! Then outside you have fire pits, a bar area to hang out in, hot tubs, sauna, bocce ball, cornhole, etc. Such a GREAT environment right across from torch lake ramp. The rooms were beautiful and clean. My only negative of the lodge would be that the pillows were massively tall and thick so although they look pretty, you definitely can't sleep on them or your neck is screwed. We ended up folding up a car blanket we had in the car to sleep on. Just pack your own (which we should have done) and you will be great! This place is very nice and I would highly recommend it to anyone!"

"Curb appeal was great, with convenient on-site parking and great view of Lake Michigan. However, contactless entry was flawed, as both another guest and I discovered. We each kept trying our provided codes, as the wording in the email with the codes was confusing. Finally got the front door open with my code, then tried the room code, which didn’t work. I called the help number from the Hotels.com app, which linked to the *previous* property manager, Kasa. Eventually sorted that out and got the number to the new property manager. Admittedly, my call was answered quickly and I was given a new door code that worked, but it was a 15-minute pain in the neck to sort all this out (felt really bad for the other guest, who didn’t get the size room he had booked for 4 people). The room itself was okay: clean, refillable rather than wasteful single-use toiletries, thick towels. However, despite having cupboards for dishware, none was provided, which seems ridiculous given there was a fridge and microwave. The large kitchen in the common area had some plasticware and paper plates, but c'mon...why no dishware in a kitchenette room?"
