"The rooms were clean, the staff was very nice and helpful, and its budget friendly. There is also a free coffee machine and snacks at the check in office. But, its an old motel and the rooms are a little smelly. The rooms are non-smoking but people smoke right outside the rooms and all that smoke gets through the vents when the AC is running. "Parking in front of room was plentiful. The room was dated, but clean. Had all the necessities needed for a quick stay. Conveniently located across from Highmark Stadium. Overall experience was good. Would recommend if looking for a short stay."

"The rooms were nice with tall ceilings. However, the tall ceilings meant it was built with little insulation between floors. Yes, that means every step your upstairs neighbor took pounded through to your room below. I would suggest a top floor room, if that is an option. It's also concerning that the price of the room was 50% higher than a room outside of Philly or Boston for similar hotel (in one case both hampton's). This shouldn't be the case for Buffalo, but it fit our driving schedule...

"Large pieces of broken glass on the floor outside the closet. Room carpeting was noticeably unvacuumed with plastic tags on the floor from new clothing of previous inhabitant. The safe was also not working. Called the front desk, described my issues, requested another room. Desk manager came up, apologized, handed me a key for a room on a different floor. I showed him the glass he really didn’t care so much nor did anyone help us move to the other room. We made 2 trips, no big deal....

"The hotel was good. We had a few issues but the staff took care of it immediately they were very helpful and courteous. Everyone spoke and smiled. The only thing that wasn’t good was the breakfast. I don’t eat pork and food tastes horrible. They said they were going to serve turkey and they had pork sausages instead is very dangerous to someone who doesn’t eat pork, but I bring my own turkey products just in case things like this happen. I wish they had a hot tub in that hotel the other ones...

"This is your basic airport hotel. The front desk gentleman, Eric, does his very best at keeping the hotel running at night. But, he needs help. The sofa bed was not made & there were no pillows when we asked for them. Showed had a few hairs. Airport shuttle is convenient. Air conditioning unit did not cool sufficiently so the unit kept turning on & off all night, making a lot of noise. It was just ok, but there are limited options around the airport."

"My daughter and I were in town for UB orientation, and I changed our reservation last minute to The Richardson because I wanted to be close to Elmwood neighborhood and Shakespeare in the Park. We were able to walk to both, and The Richardson is such an interesting building and has beautiful grounds. We had a king bed, and it was wonderful and very comfortable, great bedding, clean bathroom. We didn't eat at the hotel, and I wish I had a little more time to explore. The staff was kind and...
