"Really enjoyed this stay - chilled and relaxed just as we'd wanted when we visited in the last week of May. We had a room with a sea view and terrace and loved being on the loungers relaxing in front of the beach. Comfy beds, good air con. Restaurant downstairs had good food options too. Breakfast was fairly basic but still nice to have included. A short walk from the 'town centre' but steps from the beach."

"Excellent customer service by the receptionists (Sarah and Desiree) as well as the ladies from the cafeteria. Lovely and elegant hotel a few steps from the beach and all the Herradura venues. Highly recommended!"

"C’est un peu moins bien équipé que dans un hôtel; il n’y avait pas de couette de lit, seulement un drap mince, donc nous avons eu froid avec la climatisation qui était très dure à régler. Le lit pour deux personnes était petit. Par contre, l’endroit était propre et bien situé."

"This is such a charming bed-and-breakfast, and from the moment you walk in, it is so welcoming! We had one of the larger rooms upstairs which was quite comfortable! The coffee and pastry which are included in the morning, hit the spot until we were ready for a full breakfast elsewhere. We would definitely stay here again!"

"Friendly and helpful staff, perfect beach view from the room balcony; suite comfortable and very quiet at night, lunch at the hotel restaurant was incredible, and the town is delightful. The only negative is weak internet, but who needs internet on a beach getaway!"

"This is the second time we have stayed at La Puerta de Nerja Hostel Boutique. The location is ideal as it is very close to bars and restaurants. Burriana Beach is a 15 minute picturesque walk away. The staff were extremely friendly especially the staff on the rooftop terrace, where we went at the end of an evening. A big thank you to the mature gentleman, his grandson and the waitress who were very attentive.. we loved the cake!! We would definitely recommend this hostel and will plan to return...

"We had a room overlooking the beach which included a small balcony. I suspect that the views from the other rooms along the sides of the hotel were not quite so good. Beach access was easy - just cross the road and you're there. Mainly pebbles & coarse grit, with a few sandy patches. No problem renting a sunbed - plentiful supply. Several restaurants along the seafront, some good, some expensive. The evening buffet in the hotel was very high quality, plenty of choice, and even less expensive...

"Just returning from a 7 night stay. Room was lovely all the essentials provided. Lovely powerful shower , comfy beds and very quiet. Also they have a lovely terrace with a pool to cool off and have a drink.A five min walk into the shops bars and restaurants and 10 min walk to centre Nerja. Tess and Jorge the owners we had the pleasure of meeting them both and if you needed their assistance they were fantastic to oblige. Would recommend to all our family and friends with no hesitation and thanks...

"This hotel is conveniently located in the town center. Everything was great except the construction right in front of the hotel entrance door. They were jack hammering the entire front entrance walkway with construction starting at 9am and they were done by 3pm. Many guests complained and asked for refunds or compensations."

"Los Arcos have a very poor impression on arrival. It's a shabby old fashioned terracotta frontage amongst white pristine buildings. Parking is very difficult & staff at reception not helpful. We arrived a few mins early & were made to feel a nuisance. A simple free drink at the bar would have helpful. The receiption area is dingy, as is the breakfast area - cafe space. Bedroom had a large balcony & comfy huge bed, but again, dated. Bathroom small & towels seen better days. Plus side, lovely...

"Kamer was proper en zeer ruim. Enkel was het er wel koud, en we kregen het er niet warmer. Uiteindelijk extra lakens gevraagd en deze gekregen. Ontbijt was lekker."
