"Upon arrival the staff were very friendly, however things went down hill from there. We were shown to room 1( Spa Gill ) which looked really nice on the website. As we entered the room it looked nice and clean but the bed looked like the mattress was very thin and not quite what we expected. The bottles of water which were complimentary were really warm on an extremely hot day. There was no fridge or safe in the room, but a sign saying valuables are left at your own risk! "The very warm welcome and smiling friendly service from the staff I received from the very start made my stay particularly special. The room was quiet and separate from the main building. It was kept spotlessly clean. The food was excellent; breakfasts were varied and excellent and the meal I had in the restaurant was also of a very high quality. I cannot recommend THE INN highly enough!"

"Room was in good condition however it was a disabled room that was not advised on booking. There was an intermittent unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. Seeing the disabled room I immediately requested a room change but here was not much enthusiasm as we had a 2 night stay and was told the hotel was full the following night so not much they could do and on the first night there were currently no other made up rooms.
