We enjoyed the many rabbits that gather outside daily; even though they’re wild bunnies, they’re obviously not afraid of people and would come right up to you. They’re so cute and quirky!
I believe that our unit had been recently renovated. Even though it was really nice, it wasn’t what I assumed we’d be getting; the photos were completely different! The unit I had booked had a lovely white kitchen with a large island, 4 black bar height chairs and featured a skylight as the units are quite dark inside. That’s not what we got and rather than complain about it, we knew it would be just fine. For the most part, it was great but there are a couple things I feel are worth mentioning. On the 3rd day, we had neighbours move in above us (we were on the bottom floor). They weren’t loud at all but you could hear every footstep and every sneeze! Considering it’s a wooden structure and not concrete, it’s totally understandable. A lesson to be learned here; book the top floor if you don’t like the sound of footsteps above!
FYI: there are several steps that take you to the ocean; beware if you have mobility issues.
Upon checkout, I mentioned that the condo was very clean EXCEPT for the 4 dining chairs and the sofa. A really good cleaning is needed as they were quite soiled. Having light coloured fabric is perhaps not the best choice for a rental unit.
All and all, it’s a lovely complex; 4 stars for sure!"
