"Have stayed at The Green 💚 Lodge in Hoylake...3 times. Always felt comfy...and have got to know it's staff. Breakfasts are 👍...and you can avail of slightly different...to usual Full English. 2 cousins joined me for evenings meals...my last evening..we sat in the window alcove in Dining room...the waitor was very friendly and polite. JOHN PARKINSON...retired journalist.."

"Pros: lovely breakfast, nice aspect to the room and comfortable bed. Staff are delightful Cons: bathroom is a little tired - mildew and taps not fully working - but workable. "

"We just spent one night in Chester to visit the rows which is a reputation of the city. The hotel itself a bit far from downtown which takes about 20 minutes by walk. The room is a bit small with no view. There is no an elevator and the stairs is quite narrow. Pros are good breakfast, free car parking, and big bed. "
