Our room had peeling paint, and areas of the ceiling that had clearly been patched were already peeling again. The stand holding the microwave and refrigerator was also broken. The pool area wasn’t much better. There was a hose running into the pool, and the hot tub was out of service with construction materials covering it. "Nice pool and decent fitness room. Good breakfast buffet. Would recommend."

"Very nice resort"

"The room was excellent. It was clean and fresh, very comfortable bed."

"Staff was nice, water pressure and shower head were excellent. However, the shampoo and conditioner were very obviously watered down, and there was no shower gel at all. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pipes knocked whenever we or anyone staying around used water. This is close to the highway, so be prepared for traffic noise. Hotel was otherwise clean and well taken care of."

"We were greeted with friendly and very helpful staff from the minute we walked in the doors. He even helped us with our luggage, and phoned us after we left to be sure we had a pleasant stay at his hotel - Budget Inn in DeWitt Iowa. We would recommend staying at this place, and we will stay here again in the future."
