"A great home base for a cycling trip. The rooms were very clean and modern and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. There was a convenient and secure bike storage room in the garage with local bike services nearby. The many routes as detailed by the Centrum RVV all originate at the doorstep of the hotel. "Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. "Our stay was perfect for our purposes. We had a one night reservation here followed by a one night reservation at Pairi Daiza. We wanted to be close to Pairi Daiza so that we could go to the zoo early on the day of our planned arrival. Rather than being just a useful location, Hotel du Parc turned out to be very charming. "If you want to be looked at well then this is the place to go. The owner are constant there looking at you like a camera and the women is very rude when she speaks. My wife was very irritated and she is normally the better half of us. The floor is dirty if you really check and the spa is very small. "
