Highly recommend

This was such a lovely, quiet stay, the home (Cottage 3) was well equipped, warm, and extremely comfortable. The facilities at the pool were great and the kids loved it! Communication on how to enter, exit, etc was perfect - no issues, no complaints - thank you for the wonderful stay.

Our second time atopping. Amazing place to stay. Kids love the indoor pool. Cottages have everything you could want. Highly recommended and no doubt we'll be back again soon

The property was spacious, clean and in good condition. It was in a very peaceful countryside setting with views of the sea from upstairs. The peace and quiet was very welcome as Cornwall is often very busy and it was nice to come back to in the evenings. Also having a swimming pool on site was a big bonus and the reason we booked. On the down side, my husband and I only had 2 bath towels each for the whole trip of 9 days. The booklet said that these would be changed half way through but this didn`t happen. When there is a swimming pool both towels were used each day. (Coming from abroad we did not bring additional towels.) A change of towels half way through is not unreasonable. Also please give instructions on how to open the front door as we were not used to the system and had to ring for help as we could not enter the property, even with the key. Someone on site to assist and advise generally really would be a great help.On the whole it was a lovely place to stay.

I recently stayed at Green Acres Cottages, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage was lovely and impeccably clean, making it a comfortable retreat. The open plan kitchen and living room were spacious and spotless, perfect for relaxation. The seating area outside offered stunning views of the surrounding area, ideal for morning coffee or evening relaxation. The bedroom was well-kept, and one even had amazing views of the landscape. The beds were incredibly comfy, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The two bathrooms were fantastic. The bath was spacious and comfortable, while the shower had excellent water pressure. The grounds surrounding the cottage were well-maintained, adding to the overall charm. One highlight was the spacious and clean pool. It was very nice to swim in, especially with the sunlight streaming through the big windows. However, getting to the cottages by foot was challenging due to the steep uphill incline. Additionally, you had to walk on a busy road with no pavement to reach the footpath, which was not ideal. Another downside was the reception service. Even during reception opening hours, there didn’t seem to be anyone available, which was inconvenient. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, Green Acres Cottages provided a wonderful and serene getaway. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay.

Beautiful cottage but not very high standard

Quite a few parts of the cottage weren't clean, appliances were leaking and broken/unusable. Bath was dirty with soap scum and skin! Outdoor chairs broken, injured myself sitting on them. Kettle leaked, couldn't use the microwave due to no handle to open the door.

Home from home with views to die for

Absolutely fabulous place. Can’t fault a single thing. Very clean and tidy with all that you need for a comfortable stay, and felt like home from home. Also the site surrounding the cottage was well kept and the pool was lovely and warm and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful family stay!

Gorgeous house, surroundings and pool. Very much left to ourselves to enjoy a family holiday. The best self-catering accommodation we’ve ever stayed at. Fully recommended!
