Great location, right on the beach with easy access into the surf! Only a short stay, but perfectly adequate facilities - and even managed to spot a few Hector’s dolphins cruising in the waves as we were checking out!

Esther and the rest of the staff are incredibly kind and welcoming - I feel so lucky to have stayed here during my visit to the Catlins region. There are also plenty of sea lions just a short walk away that you can observe from a distance!

Great base camp for exploring the Catlins
This was a great base camp for exploring the Catlins. Beds were clean and comfortable, although I felt I had to wipe down the kitchen before using it. The property was amazing! Beautiful views of the estuary, a peaceful place to walk in the mornings, and good view of stars at night.
