Staff acknowledged others had voiced similar concerns, but the response was essentially, “Sorry, that’s the price.” The hotel itself is pleasant, quiet, and just a 10-minute cab ride from major attractions. But without access to the pool, I likely would have chosen the Athens Gate instead—comparable in comfort and location, and about 20% less per night."
