"We stayed at this cozy little place the night we arrived in Papeete and again before flying out. The free airport shuttle was a lifesaver - staff were extremely friendly and did not hesitate to accommodate our 2 a.m. airport drop-off for our 4 a.m. flight. The rooms were simple but spotless, and it’s clear they put care into the decor - the beds were SO comfortable. Overall, a super convenient and welcoming stay!"

"Lets start with the good: nice beach, great pool, nice garden, friendly staff, comfy beds, family friendly with lots of kids. Unfortunately for me there were a few things that stood out negatively: Rooms are not really clean (had a big wad of black hair in my balcony that no one removed in days). "The hotel appears to be fairly new. The room smelt of fresh paint, clean and a good size. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom and kitchenette area was a good size. The location is approximately 15 minute taxi drive from the airport, which was perfect, especially with an early morning flight. The only disappointment is no onsite restaurant. Recommendations were suggested by hotel staff, with a mobile pizza stand just next door. If arriving late at night and travelling alone, you won't have...

"Great place to stay in town. Center of everything and I’m front of the ferries. Stayed there twice during my time in Papeete. Got the cabin bunk for a solo traveler no complaints communal showers outside that separates men and woman. Easy place for easy travelers. "

"The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!"

"One of my favorite things about Manava was the authentic Polynesian vibe. Beautiful place, wonderful staff. Loved being able to snorkel off our own deck - did a premium overwater bungalow for 2 days and private soaking pool bungalow for 1 day. It was fun to experience both types of rooms. The beautiful infinity pool was amazing. We just had a wonderful stay and would love to return again!"

"Seriously a hidden gem on Moorea. The renovations are modern and lovely. The rooms are very sizable with a convenient and useful kitchenette. The beach/swimming/snorkeling area is a standout! You have your personal coral reef with all kinds of beautiful sea friends. Finally, the restaurant and bar are 5 STAR. Fantastic choices on the menu. We ate some of our best meals here! The happy hour sunset is a must. Some live music really added to the ambiance."
