Staff very accommodating to keep my bags a couple days while I was on a tour. Room was clean. Breakfast very nice with outside garden area too. WiFi not very strong though
Nice facilities, not a great location for walking.
We ended up having to stay in Pangkalan Bun unexpectedly when our flight was cancelled. We booked this hotel at the last minute. The staff were very nice and the facilities good. My only complaint would be that it is a fairly long walk to get to the main part of town where the “sites” are. A short drive, so if you prefer that, the location is fine, but if you like to walk, pick something a little closer to the water.
Excellent stay here. Very clean and comfortable. Buffet breakfast was mostly all COLD rice noodles and vegetables. Toaster was available. One morning we had someone doing eggs but the next morning there was no one.

I guess you’re getting your money’s worth. The beds were very uncomfortable and the sheets tissue paper thin. The food was okay. There’s no soap in the bathroom.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is old, run down, with mold in the bathrooms, old dirty paint in the room.
Front desk staff unhelpful with calling a taxi to get to airport.
Rooms on ground floor were so loud I had to wear my noise canceling headphones.
Never ever again
Tolle, saubere Unterkunft. Personal super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Großes Zimmer. Ich konnte mein Gepäck für 2 Tage hier lassen während der Bootstour.
A great place to lay your head after a few days on a boat on the jungle. The hotel is a little tired but the restaurant for dinner was a pleasant surprise and the staff there very friendly and went out of their way to get the order correct (one of us was vegetarian). Great lime juice too! Breakfast was not so good, more local food. But even the locals were crowded around the bread and toaster so it was difficult to get the one thing we wanted! All round it served a great purpose for us.

Quiet location, large rooms
Very thin walls, very average restaurant
The staff was friendly and helpful. Clean and nice place with ok breakfast. The place is located near to the main road, which is not ideal for pedestrians and it is sometimes a bit noisy.

Good hotel for overnight stay
Wonderful staff. The hotel rooms are a bit dated and the linen needs updating, but yummy breakfast, clean and fine for an overnight stay
Prima hotel voor je start naar Tanjung Puting, zeer schoon, ruime kamers en prima eten!

Music until midnight ...
1. When checking in we immediately made reservations for a taxi at 7.00, said that we wanted breakfast at 6.00 (rising at 5.30). Nontheless we were given a room at the garden. In the restaurant - also at the garden - was a band playing (everynight lofe music, we found out later) untill midnight. We couldn't sleep!
2. They have a appointment that a taxi to the airport costs 90.000, a ridiculous price for a 10 minute ride!! (I was convinced she told 70.000 when I made the resevartion, which is too much anyway). Don't know if there are any other taxi companies around.
3. On the other hand: there are not too many hotels in town.....
Comfortable, one of the nicer hotels that we passed from the airport. Neighborhood was not particularly tourist friendly...but was typical for the location. Hotel had a decent restaurant where we are most of our meals. There was also a karaoke bar/lounge which ran until 11 pm. A tad loud, but not horrible. Clientele seemed to be official Indonesians on business travel. Room was clean and comfortable. Would recommend for short stays of 3 nights or less, since local neighborhood held little interest. Good stop over on our way to Kalimentar from Bali.
