The food in the bistro was excellent and very good value. It was an excellent choice to use as a base for exploring the coastline. "If you want a bit of Cornish history this is the place to stay. Don’t expect 5* luxury, however, the beds were comfortable and self service breakfast was included. The restaurant wasn’t open but the food at a neighbouring pub was good. There was a well stocked bar and games were available to use whilst enjoying a drink. Our impromptu arrival didn’t phase Simon, our host. Would stay here again."
