There are few choices to stay in the area. This place is definitely no frills with some rustic charm. The staff were helpful and friendly. My room was basic but adequate for a place to lay my head while visiting this beautiful area. The walls are paper thin. I could hear every word spoken from the adjoining rooms. The place is convenient in that there’s a small store and a restaurant. The food in the restaurant was very good. I liked that is a bit further from the the main congested areas of the national park.

Staff is very helpful. Willing to provide direction, places to visit, and anything else a visitor might need. We have visited twice a year for the last few years. It is a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Great place to recharge you batteries and relax in nature. We saw the Milky Way one night at 3:00 AM. The night sky is amazing with more stars visible that you can begin to count.

We rented a cabin which reminded me of a tiny house! Cute and clean. It had a back porch perfect for stargazing. It was more reasonably priced than other Death Valley properties and a great jumping off point for exploring the park. Great location as a hub for a Death Valley trip, staff were super friendly, restaurant had lots of food and drink options. My only negative feedback is that the walls between the rooms are super thin, you can hear everything from your next door neighbours, maybe some sound insulation could help!
