  • Pelican patiently waits for some fish scraps from the user of a man cleaning his fish. There are 2 piers in Panama and both cost $3 to walk them. The one closest to Pier Park is further out into the Gulf so it's more worth it if you can only do 1 pier. They do stamp your hand so you can go on and off it all day. On the pier a lot of people fish so watch for them hooks. From what I was told to fish in Florida you need a salt water and a fresh water licence in order to fish in the different waters. There are also signs posted on the pier about how to handle a situation if sea turtles get caught.

The house looked small on the outside, but it was pretty spacious on the inside and accommodated me and my guests well! It was comfortable and cozy. Quiet neighborhood, but i didn't like that the houses were extremely close to each other. There was very limited parking. However, our stay was very pleasant and relaxing, and the owner was very accommodating as well!
