"This a delightful boutique hotel. I had business in Chirnside the following morning, and this hotel was perfect. The rooms look just like the picture....spacious and individually decorated. The proprietor even got up early and offered me a breakfast at 6.30am for my early start, when she normally opens her breakfast service at 7am. The was greatly appreciated and was just one example of the very personal service I experienced. I could not have been happier. Thank you."

"The room was clean and smelt nice but there are several details that should really be attended to. Staff were wonderful and attentive. It was quiet from road noise and the permanent residents were friendly while mostly keeping to themselves. Location was good for my needs. Mattress was not real comfortable and older style but was generally clean as was the bedding. Stains on the carpet. Airconditioner very old, broken fins loud and dirty. Shower toilet really needs updating with inground mould in shower and badly patched toilet surround. Drinking water in the fridge would be nice for guests and a flannel per guest. Towels could do with changing out as one of mine was visibly stained. All in all 3/5 Good price but definitely budget conscious accommodation."

"Staff service was great but the TV was not connecting to smart phone to use netflix, youtube or any entertainment. And it is great if they can provide a microwave and cutlery and crockery inside the room for guests to use. Otherwise everything else was perfect and will be definitely recommended"
