"The hotel has a retro 50's vibe, with the lounge being full of unique, eclectic pieces of art and cosy furniture. There are many little areas in the lounge to curl up around the central fireplace or outside to meet with friends, as the atmosphere is welcoming, and homey. The rooms are beautiful, with vibrant colours, and full of essentials. A little nespresso machine with pucks would be a nice addition for that early morning hit of caffeine. "This is a solid, budget-friendly spot in a quiet neighborhood that remains conveniently close to downtown. Having a kitchen is a major advantage for longer stays, and the pool is perfect for a quick dip when the weather heats up. However, the internet was notably slow, and the 'Grab-and-Go' breakfast was quite minimal, consisting only of coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and instant oatmeal."

"The Cactai is excellently maintained with comfortable beds and a beautiful swimming pool area complete with nice lounging and a hot tub. It has modern decor and high tech features including a bidet with great setting choices. There is no front desk. Once you register yourself as a guest you are sent a code for the front gate and your room and you're all set. We would stay again when in Palm Springs."

"The hotel is beautiful and huge. We had four adult females in our party. We requested a room with two queen beds. The room was extremely large. The bathroom was very spacious and filled with all the necessities. The hand and body lotion was not a favorite because of the pungent smell and difficult to absorb.
All of the staff were courteous and very helpful. The Bellhops will call Ubers for you if you like. They are also kind enough to take pictures for your group.

"Gorgeous view of the mountains. Room was very clean. Pool and hot tub areas were extremely clean and quiet. Great breakfast.

"I love the quick check-in process that you can do online. It says a lot of time upon arrival. The staff were more than welcoming and helpful with any questions I had. Room access with excellent and the bed with the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a long time. I will definitely be stay here again. This is quite the gem. The renovation of the property was fantastic."

"We have stayed at this property a few times and were never disappointed. The breakfast is good for a free breakfast. They always have a different scrambled egg each day. The pool is clean and relaxing. There's the heated pool and hot tub. There's plenty of seating and an outdoor bar. They keep the facility very clean. I'd stay here again."

"Beautiful, historic and authentic mid-mod property close/walkable to all downtown has to offer, yet a block off the main drag, so quiet. Clean and comfortable and the greatest, most welcoming staff - who had wonderful tips for local spots to check out!
