"Lovely, charming property with plenty of character. Staff was super kind and helpful from the manager, assistant manager, down to the housekeeping staff. Pool and hot tub were enjoyable. A great, relaxed stay in the desert."

"We always enjoy our stay, whether it’s a quick getaway or an extended visit. The location is perfect—conveniently close to shops and restaurants, yet tucked away in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. It’s the perfect balance of convenience and relaxation, especially when winding down in the evening. We always look forward to coming back!"

"Had a wonderful stay here - wish I was staying longer! The hotel was clean, beautifully designed, the staff were exceptionally thoughtful, parking was easy, and it felt very secure/safe. I was also shocked by how big the room was! I didn't realize when I booked that I would have a whole extra room with a sofa and a kitchenette, along with a private outdoor terrace. What a nice surprise! The grounds are also beautiful - the pool and firepits offer such a beautiful setting for relaxing. I'd love...

"We were able to check in early and our room was very surprisingly beautiful and inviting! Love that!"

"Great service and such a cute place to stay! Can't wait to book again!"

"Linda was great, checked on us prior to check in, making sure we were accommodated if being late for check in, felt very personalized. The retro decor made us feel like we were on the set of "Mad Men", its meticulously maintained, its movie star quality."

"Descanso is a wonderful, clothing-optional resort in Palm Springs. Breakfast and lunch are included daily, and the staff could not be more gracious or accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel."
