"I usually stay at chain-type hotels. But this worked out great. I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very nice. The bed--I can't begin to understand how the bed was made. It was so tightly tucked in, it looked like the top quilt was painted on. Amazing. I love Indian Food as well as Nepalese food. Boy, was I pleasently surprised that I could get both it right in the hotel. That was great too. I will return."

"This was a beautiful setting, just off the highway. Vineyard views, lovely planters and landscaping. The room was nice--would have been nice to have a second occasional chair. It was clean and nicely decorated; the bathroom was clean and had a walk in shower. We took advantage of the free wine reception evenings. There is a nice bar and casual restaurant on site and another more formal one. Provided buffet breakfast was very good. The outdoor pool area was lovely, although we did not use it. A winery (affiliated with the hotel) was within walking distance. Check in and housekeeping staff were friendly. We enjoyed our stay."

"Got off to bad start with unfriendly desk clerk at check in. Rest of staff was helpful. Breakfast was ok but eggs were way overcooked. All around it was acceptable but nothing special. Beds were comfortable. And location near Colorado Monument was ideal."
