"Amazing room and stay. Washroom was a bit small though, it was hard to use the loo if you’re a man and standing up.
Otherwise breakfast was amazing! "

"From the moment we arrived at The Vale Hotel, we were made to feel completely at home by the wonderful young owners. Their warmth and genuine hospitality set the tone for a perfect stay. Our room was absolutely gorgeous—beautifully designed, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Every facility was impeccable, clearly cared for with pride and attention to detail.
We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we will definitely be returning. A truly fantastic stay from start to finish!"

"Excellent staff, without exception they were polite, professional and smiled!
This is an old building so the room (14) had lovely old beams and views across the forest. Plenty of parking, easy check-in with welcoming receptionist"

"Great location, very quiet with beautiful walks to the lakes and surrounding village. Excellent equipped kitchen to prepare home cooked meals. Bed was very comfortable and the house was warm inside. "

"Loved my stay at Pettifers. Very helpful and friendly staff, quick check-in too. Rooms were lovely and nice and warm too. Food, amazing, as I love Indian cuisine, but other options are available too. The guys at the bar, were wonderful. Thoroughly relaxing stay. "
