Perfect Location

Hans is a great host, friendly, helpful and cooks a lovely breakfast. Free parking & a short walk from all Paignton's amenities, its a perfect choice if you are on a budget.

Very well located with excellent host

Excellent location, clean & comfortable, tea & coffee tray in room replenished daily, fantastic breakfast cooked by chef Hans who is a very friendly & helpful host, good value. A really enjoyable stay.

Short break solo traveller

No frills b&b with everything you need and nothing you don't. Great location for seafront and town. Great breakfast, very accommodating for food preferences. Hans and Janie were superb hosts Will definitely come back

We booked the Waverley as a last minute 2 night get away, it was brilliant. Everything we needed for a shower and bed for the 2 nights. Han’s was really lovely and helpful. We will be back.

A lovely few days - the Waverley was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Hans made a great breakfast! Our spaniel loved it too. Good value for money.

Stayed here for 4 nights with my wife and both of us were really impressed, we were welcomed immediately and was given some good locations to explore that I’d have never considered. Breakfasts were also very impressive and though small were just enough to start the day. We will definitely be returning to this guest house l, though I’m not a fan of Paignton

Hans was very accommodating to facilitate a late check in due to a train delay. Excellent Menu options and breakfast was of a high standard. Room fully equipped with everything I needed. Would recommend and would certainly stay again if back in Paignton. Railway station is less than 10 mins walk and the seafront less than 5 mins very central location

From arrival host was great and friendly. All weekend he went out of his way to help. Rooms nice and clean some smaller than others but still good for the price u pay. Good selection for freshly cooked breakfasts. Five min walk to beach area and free parking will be back when we come next year.

Excellent guest house, dog friendly, clean rooms and great facilities in the room including tea, coffee and bottled waters and Hans is a lovely host. The guest house is situated 2 min walk from beach, 5 min walk from steam railway and shopping centre. everything you need for a break away

Excellent.

All of the praise given in the other reviews is well deserved and I booked a stay here on their experience. My room was clean and comfortable and quiet, with the tea/coffee tray topped up daily. The breakfast can be any combination you prefer and is very filling, cooked and served promptly with care by Hans. He is a friendly host, who is generous with his time and local knowledge. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here, indeed, I may well return to the Waverley, if I holiday in Devon next year.

From arrival to departure Hans was extremely welcoming and attentive. His hospitality was second to none. The facilities were very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Hans and this was a safe and comfortable place for my 6year old and I to stay. Bedding including mattress could do with replacing but everything else was perfect. Our room with shared bathroom actually had a sink in it and the shower room was a matter of steps away from our room and was not actually shared with anyone else. We hope to be back next year :) thank you!!!

Absolutely Brilliant stay for the New Year and a few days after! Hans couldn’t do enough to cater for me, Nothing was a problem for him and he made me very welcome. The Room was just what I was looking for, breakfast was perfect, so it was a pleasant stay for me. No complaints, highly Recommend.
