"We had a “cosy” room which was fine in terms of size for what we needed. However the room was right at the back of the building and accessed via 7 sets of stairs (6 up and 1 down) and 6 fire doors. As we were taken further and further into the warren we started laughing it was so ridiculous! It was also over the open entrance to the adjacent pub, The Harbour Inn. This is a very busy place with live music for the two nights we stayed. After the music finished there is a crowd outside the pub...

"Lovely stay at St.Moritz! A lot bigger than we realised but very nice. Lovely clean room & excellent bathroom. Everything we needed. Lovely fresh milk, quality biscuits and water in the fridge. It is called a cosy room but it was a lovely, well laid out room and the bathroom & shower was a good size. Lovely quality bedding, pillows etc. We loved the swimming pool, showers and changing rooms - great. The outside jacuzzi which you swim out through the pool doors to get too. We could have stayed...

"Awful place, room was described as having an ensuite, the shower was in the bedroom with a toilet in a closet, mould and water damage directly outside the room, mould all over the room, when we told them we had to leave they still charged us for 2 nights when we didn't stay there at all and had booked it on the day"

"Helen and Paul must be two of the nicest and kindest hosts we've met. After a 6 hour drive, to arrive to a cream tea laid out in the apartment was truly a lovely touch. One of the cleanest places we've ever stayed, they'd literally thought of everything you could need. You name it, it was there, potato peeler, sieve, cling film, foil the works. "A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort."

"As a first time ,solo traveller, I couldn't praise the wonderful staff at this beautiful hotel enough. They were all so friendly and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble , particularly in the restaurant and bar. The hotel has only been open a few weeks and there are still a few facilities not open but I will certainly return next year when the pool area etc should be complet. Thank you for a lovely stay"
