"I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada."

"Fantastic communication from the outset. Easily found and right next door to The Mayflower public house so after a long journey there’s no further travelling to do to get an evening meal. Plenty of parking, very easy check in and an exceptional selection of produce supplied for breakfast next morning. Good heating system, great bed, powerful shower, all in all with all of the other attentions to detail a great stay, very highly recommended."

We enjoyed dinner and breakfast here. All the food was first class and everyone who served us was very pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel."

"We had such a lovely stay at this wonderful B&B. Comfy bed and the room was well equipped with tea and coffee, biscuits, water etc. We had no trouble parking. Breakfast was first class. "

The room was quite hot, even on a cool day, and were it not for the ability to open the window and use a fan (already in the room) it would have been very comfortable. The condition of the room - new and clean - was very good."

They provided a fan to partially compensate for lack of A/C (during a record breaking heatwave), but wouldn't hesitate to stay there again if ever in South Yorkshire. Easy FREE parking."

"What a deceptively lovely place to stay. The exterior hides the warmth and friendliness inside. Beautifully up to date and simply designed interior. Easy to navigate and super clean. Access to the rooms can be up the fire escape stairs from the rear car park, best for us, or through the bar. And we took advantage of the cutlery and plates offered for our takeaway. Brilliant! The pub has a friendly atmosphere, happy customers and a fab live band played. Do check if there is a live event during...

I made a mistake leaving a shirt and jeans in my room after leaving, the staff were incredibly helpful in assisting me in getting the items posted back to my house - really went the extra mile. "Very nice staff, very clean room, nice clean bathroom nice shower over the bath plenty of hot water good water pressure, 2 small bottles of shampoo and body wash and a small bar of soap towels provided. Nice room with desk and chairs the bed was comfortable. Not enough power points to charge your phone/laptop/watch no USB points especially difficult if two people have items to charge at the same time maybe bring an extension lead/plug. Car parking is charged and expensive especially if staying...
