"I had a great stay "

"Hotel its self for a boutique was very good and for the price was very reasonable! Staff were attentive via the app. And each night you would get asked if you need anything. The spa and gym were very good too - not huge but was good enough for a short weekend break. Breakfast was mediocre- scrambled eggs were horrible and sausages tasted cheap so that is my only complaint. The rooms were clean only issue I had was mosquito in the room went to town on us so bring spray! It's close by to walk to the silema ferry port to take you to Valletta and you had shops and restaurants near by. Taxis via bolt and uber very cheap so get to st Julian's bay was like less than 10 minutes. "

"This is a great location in the pedestrian zone. The basic but comfortable room was clean and quiet. Two things to note; there is no traditional front desk. You enter through the Starbucks and have codes for the elevator and your room. This was not a problem for us. Also you cannot drink the water in the room. The water does smell sometimes giving the bathroom a peculiar odor. I don't know if this is a common thing in the old town. It was my first visit. "

"Staff were the very best: attentive and incredibly friendly. Room was very clean. We were a party of 3 friends: the staff immediately changed the bed from a double to 2 singles before we had even unpacked. Breakfast was so civilised, prepared fresh to order with great coffee served as requested. Pool area is great. One of our party was brave enough to take a swim. Perfect location in a nice quiet area of Valletta. No complaints whatsoever. Oh and filtered water supplied in the room daily "

"Big positive: Breakfast buffet in the Grana Restaurant. Loads to eat and drink. Full English or continental or both! Big negative: We went in February and the aircon was set to heat to 25°C (I keep my home at 18°C). I asked how I could turn it down and was told it's controlled centrally so not possible to control individual rooms, a decision which baffles me. Had the air con off the whole time, but it was warm, and we had an internal room so no air flow at all. I asked reception to provide a fan, but they said they didn't have any. Why on earth don't they let guests choose the temperatures in their own rooms?? "

It truly felt like a private retreat in the heart of Valletta. The location is perfect, close to everything, yet quiet enough to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The staff was kind and helpful, making the whole experience seamless. If you’re visiting Malta and want something special, I highly recommend staying in the penthouse. The views alone are worth it. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Great communication pre-stay! Fantastic staff throughout the hotel. Friendly and helpful 24 hour reception, wonderful greetings and always making sure everything was making your holiday pleasant. Every area was sparkling clean and the rooms were superb. The free morning breakfast buffet was a great way to start your day, fresh sliced fruits, local pastries, hot breakfast as well. Thank you all for making our stay in Valletta extra special. "
