Sehr zufrieden

Wir waren hier für eine Nacht während der Durchreise. Das Personal was super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Bett war bequem, alles war sauber und wir hatten alles was wir brauchten. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls top. Das Hotel ist für meinen Geschmack etwas zu alt und könnte ein Update vertragen aber das gehört wahrscheinlich zum charm des Schwarzwaldes. Wir waren trotzdem zufrieden und würde es definitiv weiterempfehlen wenn man nicht nach Luxus und einem super modernem Hotel sucht.

Sehr nettes Personal. Chef und Chefin sind selbst mitten im geschehen. Ich hatte eine hervorragende Kürbisrahmsuppe und einen leckeren, großer Wurstsalat. Sehr günstiges Frühstücksbuffet (4,50 €) mit dafür sehr ordentlicher Auswahl. Das günstige, ruhige Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick über die Stadt war mit hochwertigen Möbeln ausgestattet, das Bett weich. Das kleine Bad ist renoviert.

Lovely people and meals

On arrival we were upgraded to a room in the main building. There was a lift to take our bags up. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was really nice. The room was comfortable with lovely views, however we were plagued by noisy traffic both late into the evening and from very early in the morning. We were really surprised as we thought this location was remote. As we were up so early (6am) we decided to go for breakfast at 7am and we had one of the nicest that we have had compared to other hotels we have stayed in in Germany. We would recommend this because of the overall impression, but only for people who can sleep through the noise!

Goed gelegen hotel met vriendelijk personeel

Alleen al voor de vriendelijkheid van het personeel zou ik er terug gaan. De kamers zijn zeer goed onderhouden en het ontbijtbuffet is zeer uitgebreid. Een groot voordeel s dat men er 's avonds à la carte kunt eten, maar je kan er ook HP boeken. IHet is er zeer rustig, men heeft er absoluut geen last van (nacht)lawaai.

Attratti dalle ottime recensioni, abbiamo scelto questo albergo, come sosta lungo un viaggio itinerante, perchè vicino a Baden Baden (poi risultata non così vicina, ad oltre 35/40 min. di distanza, infatti dopo averla visitata è stato molto scomodo raggiungere l'hotel). Situato in un'area abbastanza priva di interesse. Camere molto datate, bagno cieco senza finestra, ma con gradevole poggiolo con vista sulle colline retrostanti). La pulizia è accurata ed il personale è gentile. La struttura si salva per l'ottima colazione a buffet servita in un bel locale recentemente rinnovato che l'ha ''salvata" da un giudizio senza dubbio peggiore. Non abbiamo potuto giudicare la rinomata cucina, poichè il ristorante era chiuso quella sera.

Wonderful hotel. Although furnishings are a dated, your receive excellent service by the hardworking owner. We dined at their restaurant and their food was excellent. They offer a full buffet breakfast which is also absolutely great. The location is also perfect if you plan to explore the Black Forest.
