"Breakfast was repeated no great. Room was small and dated with poor water pressure. View was great. People were ok. "

"Parking is extremely tight. The beds are rough to sleep on. The shower curtain didn’t go all the way down so the floor got soaked. The towel rack was broken. The sheets had a stain The only positive is there is night life and souvenir stuff very close and the beach is only a short walk away. "

"This is a cute little motel. I would say that it is fine for an overnight stay but would be difficult for a longer stay. The place is very clean and you can tell that they work very hard to keep it to work nice. The rooms are not large and the bathrooms are ridiculously small. If you've read reviews about the toilet to be extremely close to the shower, that is accurate but I didn't find it that upsetting. Or room looked nothing like the pictures on the website so that was a bit of a surprise....

"We came to Hotel Tybee because it offered what we sought, a direct path to the beach on a romantic getaway for two. Reading about its history prior to booking told us this was a luxurious destination for the elite, since become an affordable family destination. To this end we booked the Ocean View King room, their most romantic offering, but when we entered the room we saw: sand all over the floor; leftover food from the previous guest in the mini fridge; the fitted sheet turned inside out...

"Internet poor. Parking spaces extremely narrow. Certainly not standard width. Interior room lghting poor. Either off or extremely bright and harsh. Barhroom exhaust fan makes hideous noise. Toilet does not flush easily. Massively bright pole lights shining directly at window. Blackout curtain not wide enough to block light. Microwave must have been 30 years old."

"The room was very clean except the shower curtain was about a foot too long and that part sat in the shower floor. It was nasty dirty. I spoke with Kensley at the front desk and she made it right. I really appreciated her helping me. "

There is public parking and you pay the daily rate. Nice room amenities and the breakfast had the staples you would normally get in the chain."

"This was a lovely property and very nice staff - it’s dog friendly and close to the river. We loved the happy hour everyday at 5:00-nice little touch. Check in staff just ok -bellman/women excellent. We couldn’t check out as the computers were down - worried me as I did read issues with bills and the lady ahead of me was very upset as they charged her wrong and hadn’t corrected the error from 2 days prior. "

"I reserved a room with pay at property through Expedia, I had an expired credit card attached to it so they cancelled my room without any notice. I received a check in confirmation email from Expedia the day before but was told at check in they canceled my room. No phone call or anything. Luckily they had another room available but be aware when booking “pay at property” as they consider these rooms available to others until you pay in full. "
