I guess I was expecting too much. The pool was quite small and crowded with young children and their parents. We used the private beach, but there were motorboats nearby, and the water didn’t feel very clean.
We stayed on the second floor, and there was absolutely no soundproofing. Every time someone walked on the third floor, we could hear loud thumping noises. It was a big issue for me because I’m very sensitive to noise and was hoping to relax—but I left feeling more stressed. I was going to ask for a different room, but the staff said the noise would get better. We were also too tired to move all our things, so we ended up staying. Unfortunately, it never improved.
The restaurant host was pretty and seemed quite young, but she didn’t seem interested in interacting or making an effort to be friendly. It was awkward, and the food was honestly terrible—I wouldn’t recommend eating there.
If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing stay, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Kids run around the property all day long, so it’s really only ideal for families with small children. We didn’t even get to use the pool. I definitely won’t be coming back.
