"Overall we are very satisfied with the hotel , friendly staffs , good room size and free water/coffee/tea offered in the lobby. Staffs offered to pack out small breakfast for us after knowing that we have early morning flight and won’t be able to have breakfast in the restaurant The only improvement is that I wish I knew shuttle bus costs 80 Nok per person in advance and only runs every 30 mins"

"A wonderfully kept old building with lots of character. It would’ve been great to have stayed in the main building but we were allocated a room in the new annex. Very clean and orderly with the atmosphere of an officers’ mess. It was very quiet except for a small conference group. It is a walk away from the Navy Museum plus others. Pleasant walks are all round the property. While not the usual hotel experience it was novel."

"We had a twin superior room. The first room did not have air-conditioning and when they moved us at 10pm to the second room, it was way smaller 1/2 the size of the original. Two open suitcases couldn’t fit on the floor."

"Did not get the double room we reserved. Stayed in room 304 and the tv does not connect to WiFi. Could not stream from my phone and no Apps worked. Desk clerk said that was for security. Asked about TV channels and he showed me what they had for cable. Those channels did not work on our TV. Parking was difficult, up the street at a pier, not clearly marked spaces. Did not get a credit for taking a single room instead of the double room."
