What a lovely weekend. We stayed in the Buttonbush room, the last one available (I’m surprised there was a room available!). Room was spotless and we arrived late so Judy left a cute series of post-it notes guiding us to the right room :)
Half a mile from a beautiful beach with chairs, towels, and umbrellas available is excellent. Breakfast was delicious and everythinf made in-house. We had a glass of wine in the greenhouse in the afternoon provided by the inn. Enjoyed our conversation with John, very friendly hosts that make you feel welcomed and at home. If we return to the cape would definitely opt to stay here again!!
There were no locks on the doors which made it impossible to leave any valuables in the room. There was no television in the room. I had to use my laptop, but the internet was sketchy. Fortunately someone had a Comcast hotspot nearby.
The room had a musty smell and I have a mold sensitivity so I did not sleep well at all.
The breakfast was adequate, but not exceptional.
We have had much better experiences at other bed and breakfast inns on the Cape.
I stayed only one night, yet I can't stop telling people how great it was! Family run and it felt it. I checked in late and there was a note on the desk and sticky notes guiding me to my room. How's that for personal service?!
The owners and staff go out of their way in welcoming you into their B&B. They have a little happy hour with wine and snacks where you can chat with them and meet other guests. The breakfasts are scrumptious! Our room was spotless and bed was made by the time we came back from breakfast that is included. Felt like we were visiting old friends and meeting so many wonderful people. We will be back!!!
