The property was very close to the UCF Campus. Had great dining options very nearby, almost walking distance. The rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. I liked that the Bistro had a liquor option, and that the menu was filled with good choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This Marriot will definitely be my home away from home while I visit my son at UCF.
This is a nice and clean hotel. The beds are comfortable. For the price however, one would hope there would be a free breakfast and that the unique guest washing machine in the whole hotel would work (the dryer worked, but not helpful without a washer).
TV wasn't working. Tried to change rooms but they did not guarantee tv would be working on those rooms. They sent someone in the morning without notice who walked into the room while I was using the restroom. Breakfast counter lady at register quite unfriendly.
Hotel has a great location.
We loved everything about this hotel except the bed linens: one sheet and one thin coverlet. Even with the air turned down we were uncomfortably cold all night.

The “minor construction” is not minor. It’s quite disgusting!! I did receive notice AFTER I booked, that there was construction in process, but it almost seemed unsafe to be there. They offered a “free breakfast” for the inconvenience , but the unripe fruit, and coffee without flavored creamer was not worth it. One of the elevators was very bumpy and loud. This place should close until the renovations are complete!

Hotel was under construction. Long delay for hot water for shower. We were told we would be receiving free breakfast due to the construction between 6:30 am and 10 am. No breakfast at 7:00 am.
No hot water the window in my room 435 window didn’t have screen and the carpet by balcony door was wet and smelly they sprayed perfume to hide the smell no hot water in the hot tub by pool ice cold water and the water smelled like sewage when you turn on shower

I would have NEVER booked this hotel knowing it was under construction. Horrible road condition, poor security, very dirty hotel, elevators were scary. Very disappointed you would have this listed when under such poor conditions
Property was under construction and understanding there will be dirty floors but the hall rugs were pretty disgustingly dirty. Hope the hotel will be a total renovation, it’s pretty old.
The property was under construction. While my young daughter was in the lobby restroom, a male construction worker entered the restroom. When the staff realized the property was booked through a third party you were treated entirely differently. When we finally in our room, there was not hot water. The front desk said they were aware of this and to let the water run for a few minutes. Still hot water.
I love how convenient it is to UCF, and all the dining options nearby. Nice place to stay while getting my daughter oriented on campus. I look forward to the renovations being complete!
I didn't like that I was not informed of the construction that will likely not be completed any time soon, that there is no maid service except for stays of 3 nights or longer, no hot water, generally unclean property. Definitely not up to Marriott Standards.
