"Room was a good size with bedroom separate from living area. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom had all you need. TV allowed for easy casting. Located on the main street. Short easy walk to centre of town. Plenty of nearby eating options to walk to."
"With a family of 4, we stayed for 2 nights at The House, which is about 100m up the road from the main building of the motor lodge. Overall we had a great stay, very clean and comfortable. You can hear a bit of traffic noise, we were able to walk into the town centre to restaurants and bars. "
"Pros: Beautiful historic mansion, including shared lounges downstairs and on landing. Whisper quiet. Excellent bathroom (but cold floor in winter). Yale lock on door. Lovely park grounds and views. Good food and local wines in restaurant. Couple of minutes drive to town centre. Cons: Was overpriced unless you’re a golfer or lover of history. Checking in was confusing and involved a bit of to and fro in the complex, especially when desk is unattended. "
