Construction site. Loud noises and ground shaking starting at 7 am!! The price of the stay should have been lower because of this. Otherwise overall the stay was fine

First I would like to say this property is very clean, safe and convenient to multiple points of interest. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. I only give this property 2 stars because of the bed. We stay in the area at least one or twice a month at different hotels depending on price and distance to Disneyland. Out of all the dozens of hotels we have stayed at, this bed was honestly the worst! It was hard as if we were sleeping on cardboard, it was lumpy and lopsided. It was actually painful to lay in. We got no sleep at all. And you stay at hotels to sleep! Other than the bed, there was no waste basket in the room. But, whatever… that was ok since I had extra plastic bags with me. If the bed was better or at the very minimum, a king size, we would definitely give the hotel a5 star rating. But, because we paid $200 to sleep, and weren’t able to, I feel that we wasted our money and should have just drove home late at night. At least we would have gotten some sleep without pain.

My suite was clean and roomy. The staff was kind and helpful. The free breakfast had plenty of options and was very yummy. There was coffee in the lobby any time of day. As a bonus, there's an In-N-Out next door.

The front desk personnel, especially Sarah, was top notch. They were very pleasant and professional when I had an issue with the room and had to get a different room. The hotel is generally acceptable but it is old in need of some renovations. Our first room had water damage in the past and it smelled like mold and rust. The second room was better - smelled clean and comfortable bed. The bathtub had stains and a shower curtain (not the shower with door that I believed I reserved according to the photos).

I stayed in a one bedroom suite for 1 night. The man at check-in was very friendly and asked if I wanted to be on the 2nd floor or first floor and if I wanted to be towards the back of the property or towards the front. That was very nice that he gave me the option. The room was spacious and comfortable. The WiFi worked great. Water pressure in the shower was good. The bed was comfy. The AC and heater worked well and quickly. Parking is very convenient. The only thing I didn’t like about the room was that some of the furniture had some dings here and there. Still functional, just an eye sore.

Not very close to a residential area, so does not appear to have much risk of non-guests coming into the property. Good restaurants nearby. Rooms large and attractive. Beds comfortable. We have stayed at this property 3 or 4 times in 2023, and it is one of our favorite places to stay for the price we are willing to pay, however, it does sometimes have maintenance issues.

Good experience and met our expectations
Family enjoyed the stay, it was super clean and the area seemed nice compared to the mixed/ negative reviews from previous reviewers. We over exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and felt safe. The night receptionist was very nice and helpful. I enjoyed her service. Only minor complaint I had was that the heater wasn't really heating so it was pretty chilly at night.

This was the first time I stayed in La Mirada. Needed a pet friendly hotel near Buena Park & Cerritos and this place fit the bill. Couldn't get the TV to work. Front desk sent a maintenance man (on Thanksgiving Day). He showed up right away and fixed the issue. There was plenty of parking. For a Residence Inn it was very quiet. Light over the microwave didn't work, but I brought a nightlight & flashlight with me so I wouldn't have to keep turning on the main lights which were very bright. I would definitely stay here again.

Passable. It doesn't deserve to be a Marriott.
The weather strip at the bottom of the main door has a inch wide gap, letting the light, ants and bugs come in. The bathroom shower has caulk falling falling apart. The refrigerator was unclean and there were tiny houseflies and ants all around. The property sounds like was an apartment complex which was turned into a hotel, so no elevators, each unit has its own entrance. I wish this was made obvious in the hotel description. On the whole it doesn’t deserve to be a Marriott property.

The room was nice and clean for the most part. The only window for my room didn't have a screen and there was a splattered fly on the window too. The toilet ran all night unless you jiggled the handle. But the bed was comfy, it had a full kitchen, the couch was comfortable and there were two TV's. I would definitely come back!

We had a few issues with the room, TV didn't work, disposal broken. They were on it right away. We did end up having to change rooms. They were very good about everything. The breakfast was good. It was a convenient location for what we needed.

Run down on inside. Furniture broken, lights not working, poor AC control. Overall it was a pleasant experience since we only slept there and was gone during the days, but the facilities are obviously older and not as well maintained as they could be

Our stay was great. Beds were comfortable, pool was warm, spa was great too. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning. Staff was very nice and helpful all the time. Nights were quiet.

Partenza negativa… molto, stanza sporca (gocce sul tavolo, cucinino sporco, lenzuola macchiate). Per il resto è stato un bel soggiorno. La posizione è perfetta per la tranquillità. Per arrivare a LA ci si mette un po’, ma si sa, il traffico è quel che è. Comunque, avvisata la reception del problema pulizia, alla fine abbiamo risolto… mi resta il dubbio se la lavanderia funziona, ora che siamo partiti…

The AC was broken, our room was 80 degrees for 3 days, they wouldnt relocate us to a different room and didnt compensate our discomfort. Late check out wasnt available.

Good value for money
Really enjoyed our stay, great location for our family wedding activities, and quiet despite proximity to the freeway. The breakfast buffet was generous and we were happy that we could invite some friends who were in the area to join us for breakfast as guests. The only regret was that housekeeping staff was somewhat overwhelmed and was not able to clean our bathroom promptly after an incident.
