Unique accommodation near the tribe villages and not too far from Epupa falls (about 3h by car). Pleasant infinity pool where it’s possible to admire sunset while drinking a fresh drink. Cosy wide room with comfortable bed, coffee maker and fridge. Professional massage service at the SPA.

Oasis
Wonderful. Super friendly staff. The lodge was an oasis from the heat of town. The rooms are clean, well equipped. A great place to rest your bones after the long, hard travel requires to get to Opuwo. Amazing view of the valley to the west

Once a gem, today not really taken care of
Nice lodge but needs some renovation and a Serious clean up. Room was dusty and simply not clean. Breakfast was very good. WiFi not Working (although it is announced as available) and swimming pool very cold !

Good day Karen, Thank you for your review. I've sent your message to the owner and manager. Regarding the wifi, I am extremely sorry that this was not working. We've been waiting for our Service Provider Telecom for over a week to fix this problem. Due to the remoteness of Opuwo we do not have many options in respect of Service providers.

Fantastic view from the top of the hill. Excellent quality and practically the only one hotel in the area of super comfort.

The place is one of the best, the rooms are clean, nice and quiet. Room service is proper. The pool is just excellent.

Breath taking infinity pool
Everything was perfect. Room was nice, clean and comfortable, staff was lovely. Best part is the infinity pool with a breathtaking view on the mountains. Minor negative: excursion and food prices were more expensive than in other lodges.

dårligt og sure personale,
Da vi ankom til lodgen, var vi slet ikke på,deres liste- der blev diskuteret frem og tilbage og endelig fik vi to værelser længst nede. Der var beskidt op ad vægene, manglede lampeskærme på lamperne ved spejlet. Bundproppen i badeværelset manglede. Der var huller i væggen der hvor muskitonettet skulle være. Og det kalder de for luxus twinrooms.😡😡

Se potete evitate Opuwo, è la città più brutta della Namibia, se proprio non potete farne a meno pernottate all'Opuwo Country Hotel, la struttura è molto bella ed in posizione panoramica, cibo buono. Pecca sul personale, ho chiesto alla reception un adattatore per la corrente mi hanno chiesto una cauzione di 50 dollari namibiani (3 euro...), non avendoli dietro ho chiesto se me lo poteva dare lo stesso segandosi il numero della stanza poi glieli portavo, non me l'hanno dato e mi hanno costretto a tornare in stanza (che comunque non era vicinissima) a prendere i soldi

Intérieur restaurant petite boutique forme de hutte ; Chambre bien mais le tapis devant le lit pas top sale , manque de nettoyage .. Prima verblijf
Complex vrij nieuw. Zit op een heuvel. Weg er naartoe kan beter. Kamer groot en mooi uitzicht. Badkamer: prima douche. Ontbijt uitstekend. Geen diner genomen, dit in Opuwo genomen bij restaurant tegenover de Spar. WiFi alleen bij receptie/restaurant. Deelgenomen aan excursie naar himba + waterval. Excursie voor hele dag met gids. Prima verzorgd. Was kleine groep met 4 personen. Aan te bevelen. Is wel lange autorit.

Algo caro
Entorno bonito en una localidad que vale la pena. Algo mal indicada la forma de llegar. Solo apto para 4x4. Precio elevado comparado con nuestro nivel habitual. Wifi solo en zona común y poco potente. Aparcamiento algo separado de las unidades. Las unidades más caras sí lo tienen al lado.

Schöne Lodge mit großartiger Aussicht
Die Lodge liegt sehr schön auf einem Hügel. Daher tolle Aussicht übers Land. Die Zimmer sind nicht übermäßig groß, aber gut ausgestattet mit einem großen Bett und einem schönen sauberen Bad. Der Pool ist groß und schön. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und alles sehr lecker.

Beautiful, expensive, great view from pool
A pretty hotel with an amazing view at the pool. Unfortunately this place is a bit expensive for what they offer. The standard rooms are tucked away from the luxury rooms and are dark, depressing, forgotten afterthoughts. We upgraded to a luxury room, which are much much nicer inside, but the views of the surrounding hills/area for all of the rooms are obstructed by small trees. A little maintenance to the standard rooms, drop the prices a bit, clear the few small trees to allow guests to have a better view from their rooms and this place would be great. The staff is wonderful, the dinners are a bit on the heavy side(but tasty) and the views from the bar/dinner/pool area are amazing. Options are a limited in Opuwo and this place is definitely on the higher end for your wallet.

Lage gut - Zufahrt abenteuerlich, mit normalem P
Personal lustlos, bis auf ganz wenige Ausnahmen. Wichtigstes Anliegender Hausboys war es, wiederholt nachzufragen, ob das Auto nicht doch gewaschen werden kann. Sieht nach zusätzlichem Einkommen aus. Das Büfett als Abendessen war das mit Abstand das teuerste das uns auf unserer fünfwöchigen Namibiareise angeboten wurde. Es war aber, im Vergleich, den überhöhten Preis nicht wert! Per Aushang wurde bereits bei der Ankunft an der Rezeption darauf hingewiesen: kein Internet, kein WIFI, keine Kreditkarten! Dem Management war es offensichtlich wichtiger sich mit einheimischen Gästen zu unterhalten, als sich um den Hotelbetrieb zu kümmern.

An sich eine sehr schöne Lodge. Wir hatten Stamdard Zimmer gewählt die waren sehr einfach und klein. In dieser Lodge sollte man besser die nächst höhere Zimmerkategorie wählen.

Great pool with a view
This hotel is strong on regulations and has a dreadful approach road. It has a great pool. The rooms have no fridge.

Angenehmes Hotel mint grandioser Aussicht
Wir hatten das Hotel für einen Zwischenstopp gebucht, der Check-In war unkompliziert, die Zimmer waren bequem, angenehm war der kleine Freisitz mit Blick auf die weite Landschaft des Kaokovelds.

Schlecht, abgewohnt, nur als Notlösung
Hauptgebäude macht noch einen recht guten Eindruck, ebenso der recht große und schön an die Hangkante gebaute Pool. Zimmmer, auch Luxuryrooms, sind dunkel und sehr abgewohnt, das Bad noch dunkler, ohne Steckdose, dafür mit übelsten Gerüchen aus den Abflüssen gesegnet. Das Personal darf man ruhigen Gewissens lustlos nennen, die Geschäftsleitung arrogant. Das Essen war richtig schlecht. Das Hotel lebt nur davon, dass es weit und breit kein anderes gibt.
