The hotel is in a very old castle-like building, the highest building in Oppenheim, with spectacular views.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owner, who speaks excellent English. We received a complimentary bottle of wine, and one of water.
Our room was very comfortable, as was the huge bed.
The en suite was very clean, with plenty of soap and shower gel.
Breakfast was one of the best continental breakfasts I have had in a hotel. A huge choice of meats and cheeses, a variety of rolls and croissants, fruit, yoghurt, and an unlimited supply of excellent coffee.
We will definitely stay there again.
