"Beautiful room, well located. walking distance from everywhere. We had a great stay."

"zaan hotel was just great for us. We had the cheapest room but it fine for us. Bathroom awesome, loved the shower. Location great. ,2 minutes walk to train. Restaurants and shops very close by. Breakfast disappointing as hot items not hot but lots of choice for cold items. Supper in restaurant really good and so great not to have to walk anywhere after a tiring day in Amsterdam. The sort of park between hotel and train station a bit off putting, people drinking and smoking but they are harmless so you get used to it. Grocery store across the parking lot with great salads etc."

"What we like : - It’s a nice hotel with plenty of art work & localized in a beautiful & natural place - Their breakfast is good and we like what we ate at their restaurant. - There are great amenities for kids : kids room, playground, outdoor chess… It’s a nice place for families. What we don’t like : - Swimming pool was too cold. - Our room was very dark. It’s a pity for a suite. - And the main pain point was the staff which was very unhelpful : no advice regarding the area or the hotel : they gave us the keys, that’s it. They did’nt help us for finding a bike adapted to the size of our son or to charge our car… It’s a pity."

"The hotel was very basic, but had everything we needed. The self check-in was easy to follow. When we arrived, our shower was broken, but the staff were excellent and replaced it while we were out for the day. It was located very close to Zaandam station and was a perfect base for visiting Amsterdam each day."

"We had a room with a broken hair dryer, malfunctioned door lock, no turn-on center room-light, and a fraud message over WhatsApp. Do not do anything if you receive any message over WhatsApp about your booking at this hotel. "

"This was such a great hotel. He staff could not be nicer or more helpful. Everyone we encountered was fabulous but the two young women on the evening shift were amazing. They could not have been more helpful or interested in our holiday adventures. Pure gold. "

"Staff are so lovely and welcoming, they made the stay so worth it. They made the effort to welcome and converse with us every time they saw us. They allowed us to check in 3 hours early which saved us so much time so we are so grateful for this. There is a free coffee machine that you can help yourself to, it even has hot chocolate and English tea, it was so delicious. The room was so clean, there were no flaws in terms of cleanliness. The bedding and towels were clean and had no stains. The beds were tidied everyday and the bathroom was cleaned too. We booked a double room, it is as small as it looks in the pictures. The room has a kettle and a tv. An iron is available upon request. It would be better if there was a small fridge. If you’re on a girls trip this room won’t be ideal for you as there wasn’t much space for us to store our belongings and to get ready. The hotel is located a short walk from the train and bus station. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this stay and would recommend this hotel. "

" The hotel is overall okay for the price, but there are a few things to be aware of. The rooms are a bit outdated and could be cleaner – there was some dust, and the bathroom door paint is peeling. The walls are quite thin, so it can get noisy. Especially in the afternoons when tour buses arrive, it becomes quite loud and sometimes continues into the night, which affects the overall calm atmosphere. On the positive side, the parking is a big advantage – it’s included, located directly in front of the rooms, and monitored by cameras, which makes it feel safe. The hotel is also located in a quiet, forest-like area, which is nice. There are shops and a city center nearby. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you can easily order food like pizza. We didn’t end up taking the train to Amsterdam because getting to the station requires a bus and the total cost for multiple people becomes quite expensive. Overall, for the price, it’s acceptable, but there is definitely room for improvement. I recomend"
