A Happy Little Hotel !

We were really happy with our 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The food is good, rooms are comfortable with adequate amenities. The Bonfire on the misty and cold evenings were welcome - the evening 5 PM TEA Tasting was a warm touch. Overall, very happy with our choice.

I felt compelled to write this because our stay at this hotel was genuinely the best we’ve ever experienced. The hospitality was exceptional—every staff member, from security to the reception and restaurant teams, greeted us with a smile and went out of their way to make us feel completely at home. Our 4-night stay was wonderful, and the hotel’s peaceful location in a quieter part of Ooty made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. There are so many people to thank, but I’d like to mention a few whose names I managed to note down: Chef Rajesh, Raja, and Monica for their warm care and for celebrating our anniversary with us; Sree and the entire team at The Pavilion restaurant; and Nandeesh, who kindly arranged idiyappam for my daughter when she was craving it. Since idiyappam is a Kerala dish, it’s not easily available in Tamil Nadu, making his effort even more special.

This is a fine property for stay in Ooty. Room is sufficient space, clean. Liked also complimentary snacks in the room. Staff are kind. They even offered my wife and me to light lamps for the evening. Dinner and breakfast choices are very good. Walkable to botanical gardens nearby. Good view of the city.

The hotel overall was extremely good , situated near the Rose Garden , various things to do including full size snooker table .food was magnificent and the staff were very helpful, in particular Monica at reception.I said I would give her 95 out of 100 but only because I never give 100

Extremely friendly staff. Very accommodating to your requirements. I would have liked to see more outdoor sitting especially in the sun. Very cozy bar that we enjoyed in the evenings. In the bar they should not play loud local filmy music that most of the people didn’t seem to enjoy.

The property is in a good position uphill from the town (which we found dirty and disappointing ) but walkable. The room was a good size. Complimentary Afternoon tea tasting. Breakfast choices were good from the buffet. The property was well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

A fabulous hotel in the small city of Ooty. Service was excellent. One example - the tennis final was on a channel that was not subscribed to on the hotel system, they subscribed! Facilities are modern, even having USB charging points built in, in the rooms. The hotel offered several daily activities including free tea tasting every afternoon and evenings around a garden fire, (we missed out on the fire as the weather was awful during our visit ).

The architecture is colonial. I stayed in a suit which was quite spacious. The staff were responsive and took all initiatives to make it better. If i have to mention a person by name it was monica. She ensured that we enjoyed the place as we could and also gave us some of the vegetables grown in their farm to us when we left. Overall a memorable stay. Would gladly recommend this property to anyone who wants an excellent service and Ambience. There is only one complaint though. My taxi driver missed having an accomodation which are provided in some other hotels. Since the night temperatue at this time was too cold he found it difficult to sleep in the car especialy during the winter months.

This is a resort so expect lots of children at weekends and holidays. However this charming hotel was perfectly adequate for us. If you are of a sensitive disposition, then the noise from the ventilation might drive you nuts, but any seasoned India traveller should be carrying ear plugs on them as standard which ameliorates the situation!

Nice hotel in ooty to stay .

It was a good experience staying at hotel. It is near to rose garden as well to market also.we handsome issues regarding our hotel payment as I've booked through Expedia, but mr Deepak has handled it nicely.
