"Great staff, very helpful. We were in room 1 which is a clean modern room. You do hear a little traffic noise but not enough that it's an issue. Just watch you don't rest a bare knee on the heated towel rail when you're sat on the toilet!"

"We had an overnight stay after attending a concert at Ely Cathedral. All I can say is it was a perfect stay in a small but high spec en-suite room with an extremely comfortable double bed, 2 comfortable armchairs and an excellent shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the breakfast was good, served in a lovely breakfast room. Can’t imagine that anything could be improved!"

"Room was clean and comfortable, food was lovely, the staff were brilliant and helpful. The only problem was the remote control for the tv didn't work and staff didn't seem to know how to fix it. While it's certainly not the most important thing we all know 99% of hotels have got TV's in them, it's standard these days so the staff should be trained in how to work or set up the remotes and there should always be spares. There should be a set of instructions near the reception or even in the rooms...

"The staff were brilliant and made our stay so enjoyable. Food was excellent both for the breakfast and evening meal. Our Room was cleaning and comfortable with a nespresso machine, premium teabags and fresh milk available from a fridge in the landing were welcome additions. The pub felt warm and cosy was festooned with lovely Christmas decorations. "Imagine you’re an adventurer in an RPG video game. This is the inn. Exactly what I wanted. It’s cozy and warm. BTW parking is in the back , you have to drive around the block and take that one way street Angels cafe is on. "

"We came to visit family who live nearby in the village, so it was very convenient to stay at the Red Lion. The apartment was great, the super-king-sized bed was very comfortable with lovely cotton sheets, and there was a great shower. Staff were very friendly and the apartment block is a short walk from the pub, so it is private and quiet. Would definitely stay again . "
