"Outstanding!! What a great stay at Hotel Arena!
First it was very safe: this was our top priority in choosing a place to stay. The security guard inside the hotel did a fabulous job making sure only guest came inside. Outside the grounds a large police presence was constantly surrounding the hotel.
Second the staff was amazing. Sara checked us in and was able to get us into our room earlier than the checkin time smoothly and very welcoming.

"I loved this hotel! We had the most beautiful floor to ceiling window view of the beach, the favelas and Christ the Redeemer! The hotel was located in a pretty good location a little further from Copacabana and Ipanema but was still a nice neighborhood with Sao Conrado beach right across the street. The amenities at the hotel were great! The breakfast had a lot of options but just was okay. Overall I would book again!"

"They advertise a balcony with the room! It's a 2 ft ledge you can barely stand on! "Superb location just a block away from the fames Ipanema beach. Lots of eateries within a few blocks. Metro is right next door which makes getting to Centro real easy even in heavy traffic. Staff was super helpful and cheerful. The room size is what I expect in Ipanema. Wish the bathroom is bit bigger and they should add a hand shower. I missed that after coming back from beach."
