"Cracking place. Lovely room. Great welcome. Good food"

"The pub and restaurant are closed from Monday to Wednesday, but, the rooms are available, but, the breakfast is available, if you are staying there. The Inn is surrounded by beautiful scenery, and ample parking. The transport links are excellent to Huddersfield and surrounding areas. Julie, the host, is very nice and knowledgable about the area, who also cooks a very good breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, very spacious bathroom with a lovely selection of toiletries. ...

"Great location, with lovely views over the surrounding moors. Excellent range of food and wines very reasonably priced. Bed room was spacious and spotless clean. Will return in the future for sure."

"Clean, comfortable with pleasant, helpful staff. A welcome pack/folder would have been nice. Good to have iron and ironing board provided. A few more hangers perhaps and a more comfortable chair!"

"Mainly clean Ideal location. Friendly staff."

"Our room was very nice and comfortable."

"The Old White Inn was in a great area and it was nice to stay in an authentic inn. "Location..it has beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. ( need a car) Rooms are very comfortable, tea /kettle etc. Stairs are a little steep. staff are lovely ,had a very pleasant stay. We arrived Saturday lunch time, they had a party of 40 in, but fitted us in and it was delicious! staff attentive and it arrived quickly so all good, so I am very sad ( and surprised ) to say breakfast was poor ! we didn't opt for the buffet and cooked ,rather just the cooked, it took ages to appear...

"LUV ♥️"

"Had a great stay. Staff were wonderful. Meals in the restaurant were the best I’ve had out for a long time. I’d travel the hour just for the food. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. It would have been flawless if there was an 2nd pillow and the door from the stairs entry didn’t bang so loundly when people walked through. Both an easy fix. Would definitely recommend"

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice pub next door, safe to go in when you don’t know the area"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much effort. The food was excellent and the Guiness was outstanding ! Would recommend highly ."
